Not only was I born here, Key West is where I met and married my husband, Ralph, and where we chose to raise our children. Ralph and I have been married for 37 years and have two beautiful children, Ralphie and Ashley. My son Ralphie lives in Key West and coaches baseball and my daughter Ashley and her husband live in Tampa where they are both attorneys. My husband is the Head Coach of the Key West High School Baseball Team and also teaches the business and entrepreneurship course.
My spare time consist of traveling with my family or relaxing by the ocean. I also enjoy volunteering for the Key West High School Baseball Program, whether it's a fundraiser or running the concession stand.
I have worked at the Tax Collectors Office for the past 30 years and I have had the honor of serving all citizens of Monroe County. My career at the Tax Collector's Office began in 1985. In 2001, I had the honor and privilege to become the next Monroe County Tax Collector. After 19 years as Tax Collector, I have decided to retire. My passion is serving the citizens of Monroe County, and with my retirement as Tax Collector I've decided the best way to continue to serve would be on the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners. I deeply care about our community and only want the best for our citizens and future generations.
